Francesca Henderson is a career educator who joined our faculty in January 2019. She has a Bachelor’s in Mathematics from San Diego State University, a Master’s in Education from High Tech High Graduate School of Education, and is currently working toward her Ph.D. in Mathematics Education. She has served in education in several different capacities: Researcher, Teacher, School Leader, Curriculum Designer, and Consultant. She has published two papers and has been cited numerous times for her contributions to symbol sense and algebraic reasoning in college-level mathematics (Henderson et al, 2010). During her tenure as a School Leader for the HTH organization, an interest in education law was birthed from auditing the School Law course offered by our program. Thus, she was equally as enthused to join our team as the School Law instructor.
