Marisol Franco-Flores has taught Spanish at High Tech High Chula Vista since 2008, teaching grade levels 9-12 in all-inclusive language learning environments. While at HTHCV, Marisol has been able to develop her skills as a language teacher in a PBL environment, implementing projects that have given students the opportunity to develop their own language skills with purpose as active members of our community. At HTHCV, Marisol also serves as EL coordinator and Summer Bridge coordinator. Before joining the HTH family, Marisol taught at La Quinta High School in Westminster, CA after completing her graduate work at UC Irvine.

Marisol now shares her experiences as an educator with teacher interns and apprentices through her language development courses at the HTH GSE and Teacher Center.
