Sophia Flores is a San Diego native with strong roots in her Chicanx community. As an alum of High Tech High Media Arts she went on to graduate from the University of California, Davis with a BA in Sociology, BA in Chicanx Studies, and minor in Education. Since graduation, Sophia has severed for Americorps and been a part of High Tech Middle Mesa’s inclusion team. Sophia is currently working towards her teaching credential and Masters of Education. When she is not in school, Sophia is most likely reading, with her nephews/nieces, or spending quality time with those she loves.
